1) Will you accept deliveries to my room?
Yes, by pre-arrangement we can hold a key to your room and take delivery of goods for you. We sign for the amount of packages received but not for the contents as this would necessitate us opening your packages. A ?5 handling fee is levied for this service.

2) What sort of security do you have?
All Instant Storage Ltd stores incorporate extensive security feature including:
24 hours digital CCTV located both inside and outside the main building monitoring all entrances & exits.
- A sophisticated twin alarm system, one building accessible only with your own personal security swipe card or PIN Number.

3) What is the smallest room you have available?
Our smallest rooms are one metre cubed lockers ( 3ft x 3ft x3ft) . Our walk-in-storage rooms are seven to nine feet high and start at 15sq. ft. In some stores we do have a limited number of 10sq. ft. rooms available.

4) What is the minimum time I can store with you?
Our minimum storage period is seven days.

5) What is included in the price - are there any hidden extras?
The price you are quoted by our staff includes your storage charge, rates, service charges, utility bills and maintenance cost. You will need a padlock to secure your room and your goods will need to be insured whilst in storage. We offer you the first ?5000 worth of cover FREE = TO ?15 per month. If your goods are greater than this must advise us of the value. A refundable security deposit equal to four weeks storage and is refunded when you vacate your storage room.

6) What can I store?
You can store almost anything in or rooms. The only exceptions are;
Living items such as animals & plants Hazardous materials such as flammable liquids and explosives. Items that could decompose such as exposed foodstuffs Unauthorized or illegal goods such as firearms etc..
Please note: Customs and police have statutory powers allowing them to gain access to your room.

7) What are your opening hours?
Our reception opening hours are:
Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
Saturday 10am - 4pm
However, once you become a Instant Storage Ltd customer you can arrange to have Extended Access ( 5am - 8am & 6pm - 11pm )

8) Once I have a room how long can I stay?
You are welcome to stay for a week, month, year or for as long as you require.

9) Is there someone at the store I can talk to should I have a problem?
There will always be a trained member of staff available seven days a week during reception opening times. Outside of office hours there are telephones located in our loading bays that will connect you with our mobile security company personnel should you require assistance.

10) How often can I have access to my goods and how much does it cost for access?
We offer unlimited access to your goods 7 days a week 365 days a year, so you can add or remove items from your storage room whenever you require. access is FREE at Instant Storage Ltd during our long opening hours, however if this is not convenient we also offer Extended Access hours (8am - 5am Mon. to Fri & 10am - 4pm)

11) How much does it cost to store my things with you?
The cost of a storage room depends upon the size required. We suggest that you consult our on line size estimator or speak to a member of our staff to determine the optimum storage for your requirements. A price can then be quoted on the correct size room. At Instant Storage Ltd we have rooms ranging from a 40sq.ft.
space to 500 sq .ft.

12) Do I have to book a room?
No, you can fill in your storage agreement today and move in immediately. However to be guaranteed a room of a specific size on arrival it is advisable to book your room in advance. The reservation deposit is ?25 and holds your room for up to 4 weeks.

13) How high are your storage rooms?
Depending upon the Instant Storage Ltd you choose, our rooms range from seven feet to nine feet and above in height.

14) How do I get my goods to you?
You can bring your goods in your own vehicle if you have enough space. We have ample car parking and large loading / unloading areas at all of our stores. Alternatively, we can recommend local van hire / removal companies to help with your transportation.

16) Do you sell boxes and packing materials, and will you deliver them to me?
Yes, we sell an extensive range of packing materials from boxes to bubble wrap. Packing can be purchased in
person from our stores or you can purchase storage packs on line and have them delivered to your door.
17) Do you offer any discounts?
Yes we offer a wide range of discounts including:

18) Do you have trolleys available?
There are a number of different size trolleys and pallet trucks available free of charge for customer use. We also have a forklift truck available for any heavier goods, which can be operated on your behalf by one of our trained staff.

19) Do you do removals / van hire?
No, we are purely a self storage centre. However we will recommend local removal / van hire companies some of which offer discounted rates to Instant Storage Ltd customers.

20) Do I pay weekly or monthly?
We invoice customers on four weekly ( twenty eight day) basis payable in advance. However, we only ask for seven days notice when you vacate your room and we refund to any unused storage charge.

21) Do I have to sign a lease?
No you don't, you sign a straightforward storage service agreement prior to moving into your room. The agreement comprises a simple " no fuss" contract.

22) Do I have to give you notice to leave?
We only require seven days notice of your intention to vacate your room. At this time a refund will be processed for the initial security deposit and any unused monies that you have paid. Notice must be given in writing, by either fax, post or e-mail.

agreement with you, and then you can move your goods in straight away.

27) Are the storage rooms heated?
Our rooms are not heated. However, we do find that the temperature within our stores remains fairly constant. Our modern buildings are very well insulated so that our stores are never too hot or unduly cold.
We have temperature controlled areas in some of our stores which are ideal for the storage of sensitive items. Please contact us for further details.
